How to Disable Infinite Scrolling on Tumblr
Infinite scrolling is one of the features that characterizes Tumblr and it is great up to a certain level, but what happens when you start using tumblr and click a bunch of links and when you want to go back you find out that you don’t return to the same place in the dashboard? It’s pretty annoying, isn’t it? I’ve experienced this so many times that you would think I’m now careful enough about not clicking those links directly, but the truth is that I’m not. When I was actually careful, I would always right-click the link and open it either in a new tab or a new window so that I could go back to looking at the new posts in my dashboard when I was done looking at the linked content, but like I said, this wouldn’t always work. I got so tired of looking at posts over and over to find where I left off that I decided to disable infinite scrolling.
I don’t know if I’m touching a “duh” setting that people have discovered long ago, but for those who are new to Tumblr or that never even thought of having such an option, I think it’s something worth mentioning.

How to Print Screen an entire Webpage on Google Chrome
For this video tutorial I decided to show you one little trick I use when I need to print screen a full webpage. I’ve used other tools to print a full webpage into a PDF, but most of the times I wanted to do that I needed to make a couple of changes to the image, so I had to do a bunch of other things to be able to edit such image.
I have also tried to use the print screen button in my keyboard to copy part by part the entire web page and then line all the parts together and then save it as a PNG. This doesn’t sound hard to do and it isn’t, but that also takes lots of steps (lots of time) and good vision which I unfortunately don’t have.
With the Screen Capture app by Google I don’t need to all of those extra things and it takes me just a couple of seconds. I discovered this app a couple of months ago, but never really used it before until a couple of days ago and it can be quite useful. In the video I only talk about using it to capture a full webpage fast and easy, but it also has capabilities of capturing only a piece of the page, capture the visible content (which is sort of like what print screen does but only in the browser), capture an entire page which was mentioned already and capture a screen region which is exactly what the print screen button does.
When you take your screenshot, a new tab with the image will open. You will notice you have a couple of tools here: you can highlight regions, blur and block parts from showing, add text and use lines and arrows. As you can see, it is a great tool for tutorials that I will be using a lot.
The only downside I find for this app is the fact that it is designed to work more for the browser than anything else. What I am referring is to the “capture screen region” option. For example, lets say you need to capture a picture of your desktop without any other windows obstructing it and you try to use the “capture screen region” option in the app. You will find out that you cannot really do that since you have to be looking at the browser window to be able to click on the option and once the option is activated, you cannot move around anything so you will end up having the browser window in your “shot”. I guess the only way to prevent this is if you had two monitors attached to the same computer, but I haven’t tried this myself. It’s not a big deal, but it’s worth mentioning. You could use the print screen button and paint for this particular task anyway, so it’s not all bad.
If you have any questions about this app, you can leave a comment below or in the video page, contact me on Twitter, Facebook, in my new Google+ page or in my ask box. If you have questions about any other computer thing, you can also contact me through the Requests section in my website and fill the mini form I have there so you can explain me what do you need help with and I can provide you a detailed explanation if needed.
I hope this app helps you in things like school projects or tutorials like it will help me.

HOW TO GET STEREO MIX ON ANY WINDOWS VERSION PLUS GETTING AUDIO FROM YOUR IPOD
If you have ever tried to record audio from your computer (windows sounds and other type of audio you can’t get because you don’t have access to the file) you know that this is a somewhat painful process if you don’t have the right settings.
Just like me, many of you don’t have the well known “Stereo Mix” option on your PC and this is pretty much where the pain begins. At this point, you have already tried to find the Stereo Mix option and couldn’t find it, so you tried to change your sound card’s driver a couple of times and a lot of people where somewhat successful at this, but the downside is that most of these drivers are outdated and that could cause you some problems in the long run and you would have to update your driver to the latest version bringing you back to where you started.
Before you decide to throw away your computer or burn it, please watch this video above.
In this video, there are no driver changes or tweaks, just cables. Yes, cables will give you the ability to record that audio you want.
A couple of things you need to know:
Your computer needs to have a microphone output, which is shown below (red) and a headphone jack (black). Most computer have them in the front, but some have them on the back of the CPU, so look for them there.
Now I state on the video that the audio splitter and headphones are optional. This is if you don’t mind not listening to what you are recording, but I strongly recommend them.
Now for the iPod (all iPods)/iPhone part, you only need the double ended audio jack cable (also known simply as stereo audio cable) if you don’t mind everyone around you listening to what you are recording. If you do mind, the only other cable you need are your headphones and you need to connect them to your computer’s headphone jack as you normally do. The audio splitter is not needed for this purpose.
You might wonder why in the video I am actually using the audio splitter. That is because after recording and uploading the video I kept playing with the setup and realized it wasn’t serving a purpose. Sorry!
This method works with other iPod models like the iPod nano and it might work on other kind of mp3 players and phones, but I don’t guarantee it since I haven’t tried it myself.

ORGANIZE YOUR DESKTOP WITH FENCES BY STARDOCK
My second video is about making your life easier by organizing your desktop icons with Fences. I started using this software some time ago and it has been really useful. Right now I have the color scheme in transparent, which makes my desktop look even better. What I love about this is that if you are a bit protective with your privacy, you can hide these icons with just a double click without even making it look weird. I also love that the fence’s scroll bar is hidden most of the time, making it look very neat.
If you have any questions about this software, please go to the requests page here in the website (above) and fill the easy and fast form I have embedded there, leave a comment on this post, or leave a comment on theYouTube page of this video.
Good luck!
