My first video talks about how you can change the default viewer on Google Chrome. Like I say on the video, I don’t like the PDF Chrome viewer because it’s too simple. I like having options, so this is not the PDF viewer for me.
Now the simple steps to change the default PDF viewer (PDF Chrome viewer in my case) are these:
1. For testing purposes, open a PDF file on you Google Chrome browser.
2. On a new tab or window, type about:plugins in your address bar. You will see a list of plugins.
3. Find your default PDF viewer plugin and click disable. In most cases this will be the last step, but in some cases you need to look for the PDF viewer plugin and click enable.
4. In your PDF file tab or window, click refresh and see if your settings have been changed. If not, repeat steps.
If you encounter a problem, please feel free to ask me a question in the requests section of this website (above), leave a comment on this post, or leave a comment on the YouTube page of this video.
Good luck!
